The Phillips Neighborhood Network (PNN) is a network of information and connections created by and for the people of the Phillips Neighborhood. Our goal is to use internet communications to help inform visitors and residents about the complex neighborhood issues ... political, legal, social, cultural, and historical ... that affect Phillips everyday.

The need for PNN is obvious. The Phillips Neighborhood is the oldest, largest, most complex, and surely the most interesting of all Minneapolis' neighborhoods. But precisely because of its size, age, and complexity, the neighborhood lacks a set of common understandings concerning its resources and potentialities. PNN represents an effort to mirror Phillips as it is, and was, in order to serve residents as a tool for reaching a common understanding about what we would like this neighborhood to become.
